A beautifully preserved pair of antique earrings featuring oval rose-cut diamonds set in classic collet settings of 18k yellow gold and silver, crafted in the elegant 19th-century style. The earrings are finished with traditional dormeuse clasps, comfortable, secure, and quintessentially antique.
Because of the closed-back construction, exact clarity cannot be formally graded, which is typical for pieces of this era. Based on visual evaluation, one diamond appears around SI, and the other around I1. One earring has developed a touch of natural, age-related dust inside the closed back, giving the stone a subtly darker tone, a completely normal and charming hallmark of authentic antique jewelry.
Dimensions:
• Diamonds: approx. 8.2 × 6.5 mm
• Total length with clasp: 22.5 mm
• Width: 11 mm
• Weight: 3.90 g
When worn, they are bright, elegant, and full of antique charm, the kind of quiet sparkle only true rose cuts can give.
